Located on Meeting Street in the heart of the River District in West Columbia, SC., Chayz Lounge is the intimate live music venue renowned for combining the finest contemporary jazz and rhythm & blues acts with a wonderful dining experience in an elegant, upscale atmosphere. Our lineup of acts includes legends of music, as well as acclaimed national and regional artists.

Our Story
Chayz Lounge is the brainchild of music curator, consultant, and former broadcast talent, Chaye Alexander. It began as an Internet Radio station and virtual space to enjoy the best blend of Adult Contemporary music. The station also provided an alternate avenue for independent musicians to reach a global audience. Thanks to the millions of loyal listeners, the station is one of the most popular on the web in its genre. Chaye had more in mind for Chayz Lounge. She envisioned it being a brick & mortar space where adults can experience live music by some of the best talents. The backroom of Nonnah's restaurant in the Vista provided the perfect setting for such a concept.
In June 2017, the Chayz Lounge venue was brought to life. However, Chaye knew from the start that she needed more room and after two years at Nonnah's, Chayz Lounge moved and now occupies the space at 607 Meeting Street in West Columbia's River District. The radio station continues to satisfy music lovers worldwide with its perfect blend of smooth jazz, soul, easy listening grooves under its new name, Chayz Lounge Radio. Absolutely loved the experience! The band was awesome and interactive. The food was delicious! (I had seared salmon (cooked to perfection) that came with pita bread and a delicious dipping sauce and a garden salad (large portion) .) The staff were professional and friendly. This venue is perfect!! If you're looking to have a wonderful night out with great Jazz music look no further!! This is the perfect place with perfect food, perfect Jazz, and perfect environment!! I would give this venue well over 5 stars!! You can't beat the classy environment and awesome staff!! I would go on and on but that would be ranting!! Let me start by saying this place was amazing! From the second we walked in the door the owner and staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was just perfect. The wife said the shrimp and grits were best she ever had and the music was out of this world so much talent on that stage. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a nice night out. I drove from Charlotte to experience this spot. This is an upscale spot for grown folks. It's classy, food is amazing, drinks were exquisite and the live entertainment is amazing. And the owner Miss Chaye...just a beautiful soul. I will be returning.
