Our signature Garlic Braised Short Ribs and Creole Shrimps & Grits are always in high demand among guests. Our Story
Chayz Lounge is the brainchild of Music & Entertainment Director and former media talent, Chaye Alexander. It began as an Internet Radio station and virtual space to experience the perfect blend of smooth jazz and soul music 24/7. The station quickly gained a dedicated global following for its carefully curated playlists and artist features. Thanks to the millions of loyal listeners, the station is one of the most popular on the web in its genre. However, Chaye had greater plans for her brand. Her vision extended to a physical space for Chayz Lounge, an intimate venue that offers the best live performance. The backroom of Nonnah's restaurant provided the perfect setting and in June 2017, Chayz Lounge the venue, then known as Chayz Lounge at Nonnah's, was brought to life.
Immediately after the grand opening, Chaye knew that she needed more space and two years later, she relocated Chayz Lounge to 607 Meeting Street in West Columbia, SC where it still resides. The radio station continues to satisfy music lovers worldwide with its perfect blend of smooth jazz and soul grooves under its new name, Chayz Lounge Radio. This venue is perfect!! If you're looking to have a wonderful night out with great Jazz music look no further!! This is the perfect place with perfect food, perfect Jazz, and perfect environment!! Let me start by saying this place was amazing! From the second we walked in the door the owner and staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was just perfect. The wife said the shrimp and grits were best she ever had and the music was out of this world so much talent on that stage. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a nice night out. I drove from Charlotte to experience this spot. This is an upscale spot for grown folks. It's classy, food is amazing, drinks were exquisite and the live entertainment is amazing. And the owner Miss Chaye...just a beautiful soul. I will be returning.
