To ensure everyone's enjoyment and to preserve the refined environment that is Chayz Lounge, we have established the following Member Policies. We respectfully ask that all members comply with our Venue Etiquette as well as the policies listed below:
Reservations:

Tickets must be purchased through our membership portal in order to apply the discount.

Advance booking is recommended, especially for popular performances.

The discount on tickets can only be applied to shows at Chayz Lounge.

Complimentary tickets are non-transferable and cannot be used for non-members.

Seats not claimed by the start of the show may be forfeited.

Cancellation Policy:

Advance cancellation notice required. Members should provide adequate notice if they are unable to attend a show or need to cancel a reservation to allow others the opportunity to attend.

Members should provide a working email address and check it regularly for membership updates and special offers.

Members are encouraged to provide feedback to help improve their experience.
Please note that failure to adhere to our these policies, misuse of membership benefits, or any violations of our guidelines will result in your membership being revoked.

Can I bring balloons to a show?We welcome all individuals and groups to spend an evening at our venue enjoying a show while celebrating a special occasion. However, please be mindful that you are attending a public performance. Therefore, we do not allow decor, including balloons, to be brought into the venue.

Can I celebrate a birthday or anniversary at a show?While Chayz Lounge is an intimate live music venue—not an event space—you’re welcome to celebrate a special occasion by enjoying an evening of world-class entertainment, fine dining, and Signature Cocktails. To ensure all guests enjoy the ambiance and listening environment we provide, we kindly ask that celebrations remain in harmony with the experience—no balloons, decorations, or large group gatherings. Can I rent your venue for an event?Chayz Lounge is the perfect place to host intimate gatherings. Our venue may not be large compared to some, but it is the perfect size for the right event. Can I take pictures or video?Taking pictures and video clips of our shows to share on social media is permitted. However, due to contractual obligations, the recording of the performances in its entirety (audio or video) is strictly prohibited. We encourage you to put your phones away and enjoy the show.

Can I watch sports at your restaurant?No. Ours is a jazz bistro that offers an elegant, upscale atmosphere to relax after work, spend the evening with friends, or a romantic night out. What sets us apart is warm ambiance and delectable cuisine paired with the finest contemporary jazz acts.

How do I make reservations for a show?Tickets and seat reservations are secured online only. We do not accept payments or reservations by phone. Visit our Shows page and then click the GET TICKETS or RSVP button. You will be redirected to Eventbrite where you can purchase your tickets or reserve a spot for Jazz After 5 or our Sunday Jazz Brunch.

How early can I arrive for a show?Our door times are as follows: Wednesdays (on occasion): 6:00 pm Thursdays: 6:00 pm Fridays & Saturdays: 6:30 pm Sundays: 12:00 pm We encourage guests to arrive at the above times to enjoy a relaxed dining experience.

Is smoking allowed?Smoking cigarettes, vapes, marijuana, or e-cigarettes is not permitted anywhere on our premises. Guests wishing to smoke must do so at least fifty (50) feet of the away from our building.

Is talking allowed during the shows?Chayz Lounge is best described as an intimate listening room. We understand that conversation among patrons is expected and encouraged. However, we ask all guests to be mindful of the fact that they are in a shared space and the level of their conversations as not to interfere with the enjoyment of other guests. Management reserves the right to address loud conversations or behavior by guests that is considered to be disorderly, inappropriate, or in violation of our policies. In such instances, guests may be asked to leave the premises and no refund will be provided.

What are your hours of operation?Our hours are as follows: Fridays & Saturday: 6:30pm - 10pm Sunday Jazz Brunch: 12pm - 3pm On occasion, we will have a show or special event on a Wednesdays or Thursdays. In such cases, the hours are from 6pm - 9pm.

What's your refund policy?All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued due to scheduling conflicts, illness, or other personal issues. We also do not have a credit system. Click here to read more about our Refund/Cancellation Policy.

What's the minimum age to attend a show?Chayz Lounge is an upscale, adults-only venue welcoming guests 21 and older. We are dedicated to providing an exceptional experience and maintaining the highest standards for our guests.

Why is there a cover charge for your shows?The cover charge helps us bring you world-class smooth jazz and soul acts in an intimate, upscale setting. At Chayz Lounge, ticket proceeds enable us to pay the artists, ensuring we can continue showcasing top-tier talent while maintaining the high-quality experience our guests love. Unlike restaurants or bars that offer live music as background entertainment, we provide a dedicated listening environment where the music takes center stage. Your support through the cover charge allows us to create an unforgettable night of live music while keeping the ambiance, service, and overall experience at the highest level.

What happens if I'm running late?Our events begin promptly, and seats not claimed by showtime may be forfeited without a refund. If you anticipate being late, please text (803) 563-8375 so we can hold your seat(s). Please note that tickets are nonrefundable, and refunds will not be provided for late arrivals. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation.

What is your policy on empty seats?The purchase of food and beverages plays a key role in supporting our sustainable business model. If you fail to notify us in advance that members of your party will not be attending—or if you purchase seats for fewer people than your table's capacity—a $25 charge per unclaimed seat will apply. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain the intimate, elevated Chayz Lounge experience.

What should I do if I can’t attend a show?If you are unable to attend, we kindly ask that you text us at 803-563-8375 as early as possible so we can explore the possibility of transferring your ticket to a future show. As a courtesy to other guests—and to help us maintain the intimate Chayz Lounge experience—we greatly appreciate timely communication regarding any changes to your attendance. Please note that tickets are nonrefundable, and refunds will not be provided for no-shows. Your attendance directly contributes to the sustainability of our venue and the artists we feature, and we sincerely appreciate your cooperation.
